Sessions

With so much technology available to us today, it's difficult to find time and the resources to make it valuable to us, as teachers, in the classroom. Wouldn't it be great if there was an opportunity to simply "come and play" with some of this new technology to see how you can implement it into your classrooms and your lessons?

That opportunity is here NOW. I am pleased to introduce a new program here at Citrus High School entitled "CHS Sandbox, a place to come and play." The sandbox gives you a chance to come and "play" with the tools and see how they can work for you!

As your technology specialist, I am one of your primary resources for all things technology, so I will be available to you during the sandbox sessions to lend a hand wherever I can.

The sessions are designed to be an informal, stress-free opportunity to familiarize yourself with the wide array of tools available online. Attendance is, by no means, mandatory and you can come and go as you please. If you want to come by for 15 minutes or 60 minutes, you can, it's up to you. These are YOUR sessions, so please utilize them as you see fit.

At each session, the web addresses of 3 tools will be displayed on the screen. You are free to try out each tool or concentrate on only one. If you are interested in working on something else, that would be fine as well. Again, this is a completely informal setting, so it's totally up to you!
